Symphony v1.0.9 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 16000000. It is estimated to take place 4 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd symphony
git pull
git checkout v1.0.9
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.0.9-SNAPSHOT-c745e041c
symphonyd version

# Should be commit c745e041ca6425aa2932352cbbe82e18ab1ffd4f
symphonyd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.symphonyd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.9/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/symphonyd $HOME/.symphonyd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.9/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.0.9-SNAPSHOT-c745e041c
$HOME/.symphonyd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.9/bin/symphonyd version
