Coreum v6.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 67170000. It is estimated to take place 1 week ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd coreum
git pull
git checkout v6.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.1.0
cored version

# Should be commit 19529725bc220d18bef1a06a229bf252629ac14e
cored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6patch1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/cored $HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6patch1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.1.0
$HOME/.core/coreum-mainnet-1/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6patch1/bin/cored version
