XPLA v1.9.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 18785500. It is estimated to take place 4 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd xpla
git pull
git checkout v1.9.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.9.0
xplad version

# Should be commit 7320564e756271353e17ecb6904d25e625606dd6
xplad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_9/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/xplad $HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_9/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.9.0
$HOME/.xpla/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1_9/bin/xplad version
