Babylon v4.4.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4171630. It is estimated to take place 1 hour from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd babylon
git pull
git checkout v4.4.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 4.4.0
babylond version

# Should be commit 132d0502190f6dcf593dd835e91bf7328cf70ff6
babylond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/babylond $HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 4.4.0
$HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4.4/bin/babylond version
