Neutron v11.4.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 62230900. It is estimated to take place 4 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd neutron
git pull
git checkout v11.4.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 11.4.0
neutrond version

# Should be commit e726e259fb447a3a04df11e835d928f42e0e9226
neutrond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.neutrond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v11.4.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/neutrond $HOME/.neutrond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v11.4.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 11.4.0
$HOME/.neutrond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v11.4.0/bin/neutrond version
