Juno v26.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 22501500. It is estimated to take place 10 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd juno
git pull
git checkout v26.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v26.0.0
junod version

# Should be commit aeaf05001489c50cecacaf3ffd2d4b8ac76b8c49
junod version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/junod $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v26.0.0
$HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin/junod version
