Sei v6.0.3 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 129965597. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd sei
git pull
git checkout v6.0.3
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.3
seid version

# Should be commit dba2420800c9fd1be459737b9fb095c3ab1c2873
seid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.3/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/seid $HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.3/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.3
$HOME/.sei/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.3/bin/seid version
