Stargaze v15.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 17467937. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stargaze
git pull
git checkout v15.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 15.0.0
starsd version

# Should be commit de89f016aa2aafd99429688de836236311f7171e
starsd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.starsd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/starsd $HOME/.starsd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 15.0.0
$HOME/.starsd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin/starsd version
