Stride v27.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 19488491. It is estimated to take place 1 day from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v27.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v27.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit d4c9b59d38e7cdf3a1b1e1d1d19e22304c8d5044
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v27.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v27/bin/strided version
