3. Rationale & Impact

Background

Infinity Ground Arcade is an AI-powered mini-game platform built with @infinityg_ai, enabling rapid creation and deployment of on-chain games through the Infinity Ground IDE. The platform expanded from a single game (Jump Jennie) into a full arcade on July 2025, and within two months launched six AI-generated Web3 mini-games. These games emphasized quick iteration, chain-native interactions, NFT rewards, and $INIT-based incentives, forming one of the earliest live playgrounds for agentic IDE-generated applications.

Built with Initia’s appchain stack and aligned with the VIP incentive design, Infinity Ground Arcade successfully completed all VIP Stages 1–15, continuously attracting players, sustaining competition cycles, and serving as a real-world experiment for agent-developed on-chain games.

Why are you delisting Infinity Ground?

After evaluating the current gaming market, operational overhead, and future direction of Infinity Ground, we believe this is a necessary and strategic step. The on-chain gaming market has been slower than anticipated in growth and liquidity, resulting in a challenging environment for sustaining continuous incentives and maintaining competitive attention. At the same time, running a live arcade within VIP requires ongoing infrastructure maintenance, cycle operations, and user acquisition costs that have become increasingly resource-intensive relative to output.

As a result, we are making a strategic shift: instead of dedicating resources to operating a single game arena long-term, we intend to consolidate efforts toward building scalable creation infrastructure, strengthening the Infinity Ground IDE ecosystem, and enabling more developers to build games themselves. We believe this transition better aligns with market reality, long-term sustainability, and broader value creation for Initia.

VIP Score and Rewards

VIP Score and Rewards from the previous epochs will be credited, according to Initia’s VIP program. Users may zap unvested esINIT rewards into Enshrined Liquidity positions at any time.

4. What’s the next?

As part of the wind-down, Infinity Ground Arcade will gradually cease live operation and will no longer run ongoing competitions or season-based gameplay. While the platform retires from active service, the experience, frameworks, and system learnings from VIP Stages 1–15 become the foundation of Infinity Ground’s next phase.

Our focus moves toward:

  • Strengthening and productizing the Infinity Ground IDE for game creators
  • Opening reusable templates, SDKs, and modular gameplay components
  • Helping third-party builders launch new games and Arcades of their own
  • Expanding documentation, onboarding path, and developer support channels

We are closing one Arcade so many more can open. By completing this wind-down and freeing operational capacity, we redirect energy into tooling and builders: amplifying creation, instead of maintaining a single arena.
