Prop 633: Token Metadata Update (USDC)

This proposal seeks community approval to update the onchain token metadata for native USDC, to add a min notional quantity of 1. The token currently has no min notional amount, which prevents it from being used as a quote asset in trading pairs. This update will allow USDC to be used as a quote asset for various trading pairs.

If passed, this proposal will also update native USDC's auction exchange transfer denom decimals to 6, and update the ticker of the existing USDC/USDT market to USDCnb/USDT for disambiguation purposes.

Actions:

  • By voting yes on this proposal, you support updating native USDC's min notional to 1, native USDC's auction exchange transfer denom decimals to 6, and changing the ticker for the existing USDC/USDT market to USDCnb/USDT.
  • By voting no on the proposal, you do not support updating native USDC's min notional to 1, native USDC's auction exchange transfer denom decimals to 6, and changing the ticker for the existing USDC/USDT market to USDCnb/USDT.
  • By voting no with veto, you find this proposal to be spam, irrelevant, or malicious to governance, and support burning the 100 INJ deposit if NoWithVeto votes are greater than one-third of the total voting power.
  • By voting abstain, you wish to contribute to quorum while formally declining to vote either for or against the proposal.
