Prop 24: v4.5 Software Upgrade

Babylon version v4.5 incorporates important security fixes.

Due to the sensitivity of the fixes, the upgrade binaries will become available 30 minutes before the upgrade. More details on the fixes will be shared after both the Mainnet and the Testnet have been upgraded.

To ensure a smooth upgrade, we kindly request the following actions from you:

During the governance proposal (until Monday 14 September 10 AM UTC):

• If you are a CometBFT Validator, vote YES for the governance proposal (ref).

When the upgrade height 4511100 is reached (at Monday 14 September 12 PM UTC):

• Apply the binary from the Google Drive link provided 30 minutes prior to the upgrade.
• Verify that the upgrade was successful
  • If you are a CometBFT Validator, ensure your node is signing new blocks.
  • If you are not a CometBFT Validator, verify that your node is syncing the latest blocks.
